We are announcing Huge Texture, our new asset that allows you to import and use textures with more than 8192 pixels, without the extra draw calls, and performance loss.
How it works:
When importing a texture, Huge Texture splits the texture into pages and saves it as a Texture Array.
Pages are combined on the shader side, which does not create extra draw calls and has almost no effect on performance.
The asset is under approval in the Asset Store and will be available soon.
