Online Maps v5.3 expands the Drawing API, adds Geoapify raster tiles, and gives you more control over vector maps and buildings. The release also improves touch input and fixes issues with networking, elevations, markers, and Tilesets.
Draw circles and ellipses with borders and fills, including clipping at Tileset boundaries. Mesh drawings now follow the curved surface of Globe Control and stay aligned when zooming. Bounding-box culling skips off-target drawings before rasterization or mesh generation, while line mesh generation uses fewer temporary allocations.
Geoapify joins the raster tile providers with 16 styles and API key configuration. For vector maps, attribute-based styling matches layer/value entries against kind or class. Optional per-tile layer mesh combining preserves material submeshes and layer height offsets. Vector buildings can now use separate GameObjects, with feature metadata available in code and the Inspector.
A new two-finger tap event includes optional zoom-out behavior, enabled by default. This update also fixes dragging off the map surface and back, improves the inertia examples across frame rates, and adds a Maximum Zoom selection from 20 to 23 in the Inspector.
