uPano - 360 Panoramas and Virtual Tours for Unity

Article

uPano is a complete toolkit for displaying static and dynamic panoramas and building interactive virtual tours in Unity. It is well suited to real estate presentations, museums, tourism, education, virtual exhibitions, Street View-style experiences, and immersive VR applications.

Visual Tour Maker lets creators connect panoramas into a complete journey without writing custom scripts. Add interactive hotspots, areas, and directions, assign ready-made actions, and create compound transitions between views. The visual editor speeds up tour assembly, while a flexible API remains available for custom behavior and deeper integrations.

uPano supports spherical, cylindrical, and cubic panoramas, single-image and six-image formats, cubemaps, and video panoramas. Users can look around with a mouse, touch input, keyboard, gyroscope, compass, UI buttons, or a UI joystick. Included plugins cover common scenarios such as auto rotation, content downloading, view limits, synchronized views, timed switching, and gaze-based interaction.

The asset is compatible with Built-in RP, URP, and HDRP and supports desktop, iOS, Android, UWP, and WebGL. Optional integrations with Online Maps, Playmaker, Fingers, and Huge Texture can extend the experience further. With uPano, a collection of panoramic media can quickly become an accessible interactive tour for browsers, mobile devices, or VR.
