Play Mode is a convenient place to tune speed, delay, force, and other values because the result is visible immediately. The problem is that Unity restores the old values when Play Mode ends. Ultimate Editor Enhancer lets you keep the useful settings without writing them down first.
Save the whole component
Save the scene before entering Play Mode. Tune the component, then pause at a point where the result looks correct.
A save button appears in the component header during Play Mode. Click it to keep the current component state after you stop the game. The same action is available in the component context menu. Review the values in Edit Mode before saving the scene.
Save the state on exit
If the values continue to change throughout the test, choose
Save Component On Exit Play Mode. UEE will keep the component state from the moment Play Mode ends.Use this option carefully. Gameplay scripts may change the same fields. You could save a temporary game value instead of the setting you entered by hand.
Keep only one field
If you changed a single number, there is no need to save the entire component. Right-click the field label and choose
Save Field Value. Other fields will remain unchanged. The feature is not available for prefabs or for components created during Play Mode. It preserves values on an existing component; it does not turn a runtime-created object into a scene object.
Run the scene again after saving the change. If the value works from a normal start, keep it. UEE handles the transfer, but you still decide which runtime values belong in the scene.
